Some time ago I posted about a problem with my JRC 1000 radar. I have not been able to find a marine electronics engineer who will look at it, however I have found a local chap who is willing to check it out and see what he can come up with. He reckons there will be a 5 V supply to the screen itself and wants to try powering the screen before looking elsewhere. The instruction manual with the pin configuration for the connectors is 160 miles away on the boat. I have searched the internet for a pdf copy to no avail.
